Wera Mohns Patten has been supporting SNV in the area of finance with a focus on grants as well as in the area of compliance since December 2022. She was already employed at SNV from 2012 to 2020, most recently as Head of Finance & Grants.
From June 2020 until her return to SNV, she worked as Commercial Director and CFO for betterplace lab gGmbH. Wera Mohns Patten studied Applied Cultural Studies at Leuphana University Lüneburg and at Uniwersytet Wrocławski in Wrocław, Poland. From 2008 to 2011, she lived in Minneapolis, Minnesota (USA), where she worked in fundraising at a German-language school and for a museum, among other places.
