He holds a Master of Public Policy from Sciences Po Paris, specialising in digital and technology policy, and a Master of Engineering in Electrical and Computer Engineering, with an orientation in Data & AI. Alongside his fellowship, he works with UNDP's Digital, AI and Innovation Hub on AI governance across Africa, and is a Research Associate at AI for Good, working on AI and multimedia authenticity. He previously held roles at the OECD, NATO, the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Embassy of Greece in Paris and Amnesty International Greece. Apostolos is interested in the political economy of AI infrastructure. His research explores who owns the compute and data that governance depends on, how rules like the EU AI Act travel onto infrastructure that Europe doesn't control, and what digital sovereignty can mean for the Global South rather than only for large powers.
