Tammo de Vries (he/him) supports the communications department of Interface as a student assistant.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Intermedia from the University of Cologne, where he specialized in digital culture, podcast studies, and media theory. His academic work focused on the interplay between media and society, culminating in a thesis analyzing gender representation and music diversity in public radio playlists. He is currently preparing to begin a master’s program in Digital Media and Communication.
Before joining Interface, Tammo gained professional experience in radio journalism, event production, and public media. He worked for institutions such as WDR, DLF Kultur, and COSMO as an assistant director and freelance journalist, and contributed to audio features, podcast productions, and editorial content.
