Salma Gomez is part of the Digital Public Sphere programme as a Student Assistant. She is currently pursuing a Master of Public Policy at the Hertie School in Berlin, where she focuses on Digital Governance.
Professionally, she has experience working at a public policy think tank in Mexico City, where she contributed to international cooperation projects supporting public sector institutions in their digital transformation, particularly within the justice system. Her work focused on designing and implementing data-driven tools to strengthen institutional performance and improve decision-making processes. She holds a degree in Economics from Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City.
Her interests lie at the intersection of digitalisation, governance, and development, with a focus on how data and technology can build more effective, inclusive, and accountable public institutions.
