Arvin Poursina is an intern in interface’s Global Chip Dynamics programme. His research interests centre on the relationship between semiconductor supply chains, technological capabilities, economic interdependence, and geopolitical competition.
Before joining interface, he worked at Sharif Business Think Tank in Tehran, where he led multidisciplinary research on geoeconomic developments, including US–China technology competition and the global semiconductor industry. His earlier professional experience included regulatory analysis and advisory work on infrastructure policy.
Arvin is completing a Master of Public Policy at the Willy Brandt School, University of Erfurt, where he recently led a student capstone project on public-sector open-data governance in cooperation with Digitalagentur Thüringen. He also holds a master’s degree in International Relations from the University of Tehran and a bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biology.
