Germany army CIO sounds alarm over pace of AI advances
Dr. Sven Herpig was interviewed on the structure and development of the German Armed Forces, especially in the age of AI. Sven was quotes saying that threat actors are “increasing agentic autonomy in state-backed cyber campaigns.” Furthermore, his analysis that state-backed groups, including from adversaries of Germany, are using AI for pre-attack capability development, at each step of the cyber kill chain and for the processing of exfiltrated data, was cited.
