Teja is currently pursuing a Master’s in Public Policy at the Hertie School of Governance, where they are a recipient of the Hertie School Scholarship. They hold a Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy from O.P. Jindal Global University in India. Their research interests include urban governance, labour markets, climate justice, equity, intersectionality, and minority policy.
Prior to joining interface, Teja worked as a researcher on labour market dynamics, authoring a publication on contractual employment and informal labour in India. They have also contributed to research on urban mobility and slum policy, focusing on inclusive governance and the social impact of policy interventions. These experiences reflect their commitment to examining how structural inequalities intersect with labour markets and technological change, an approach they now bring to their work on AI and the future of work.
