Panel at the Latin American Forum for Intelligence Studies

On March 25 and 26, 2026, the first Latin American Forum for Intelligence Studies (inteLA) will take place in Porto Alegre, Brazil. inteLA's first edition focusses on intelligence oversight in democracies and aims to connect Latin American perspectives on intelligence with international debates.

Dr. Thorsten Wetzling was invited to speak on inteLA's panel about "Systems of Control, Rule of Law, and New Technologies" together with Alcides Peron (FCA/Unicamp), Anna Cruz (Brazilian Intelligence School), Marion Albers (University of Hamburg), and André Ramiro (University of Hamburg).
