On May 27 and 28, 2025, Christina Rupp took part in the OSCE cross-regional workshop on cyber/ICT security confidence-building measures (CBMs) held in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. The workshop, organized by the OSCE’s Transnational Threats Department, discussed the use of and nexus between CBMs and cyber norms.
During the workshop, Christina spoke on the challenges and strategies for implementing UN cyber norms alongside E Guang Eugene Tan, S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies (RSIS) and Dugersuren Davaadash, National Institute for Security Studies of Mongolia. She also moderated a session on the importance of practicing a meaningful multi-stakeholder approach to cyberspace governance with speakers Katarine Lindstedt, Permanent Representation of Finland to the OSCE; Anastasiya Kazakova, DiploFoundation; and Kaja Ciglic, Microsoft.
