On February 3 and 4, 2026, Christina Rupp participated in the EU-Africa Track 1.5 Cyber Diplomacy Dialogue held in Stellenbosch, South Africa. The dialogue brought together African and European representatives and experts from governments, international organizations, academia, civil society, and industry. She contributed to a session on international cooperation and responsible state behavior, where she highlighted opportunities to strengthen multilateral engagement between the two regions ahead of the launch of the United Nations Global Mechanism next year.
The dialogue was jointly organized by EU Cyber Direct (EU Institute for Security Studies) and Stellenbosch University, supported by the European External Action Service.
