Alexandra Paulus is participating in the World International Studies Committee’s (WISC) Sixth Global International Studies Conference, which takes place in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Together with Jakob Landwehr-Matlé of Chemnitz University of Technology, she is organizing the section "Addressing Emerging Security Challenges: Which Role for the Nation-State?". The section consists of two panels: "The Changing Role of the Nation-State? Lessons Learnt in an Emerging Security Environment Since the End of the Cold War" and "The Nation-State vis-à-vis Terrorist Non-State Actors: Scope for Action and Strategies". Alexandra will serve as chair for one and as discussant for the other. Moreover, Alexandra is also presenting a paper, titled "Building Bridges in a Polarized Debate: Brazil’s Engagement with International Cyber Norms through Norm Bridge-Building".
